Eligibility Criteria
Students must meet with the following UTS Early Entry Program eligibility criteria.
- You must be a currently enrolled in Year 12, undertaking an Australian Year 12 qualification or the International Baccalaureate (IB) with November exams in the Oceania region.
- Be an permanent Australian citizen a permanent resident or an onshore international student
Courses Included in the UTS Early Entry Program
Most UTS undergraduate courses are available through the Early Entry Program. However, the following courses are not included:
- Bachelor of Accounting Co-operative Scholarship
- Bachelor of Computing Science (IDeA)
- Bachelor of Cybersecurity (IDeA)
- Bachelor of Information Technology Co-operative Scholarship
- Bachelor of Midwifery
- Bachelor of Midwifery / Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation
- Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science (Exercise Therapy)
Additionally, courses in Psychology and Design, Architecture and Building have limited availability. Students interested in these areas are encouraged to apply via UAC and the Schools Recommendation Scheme.
Application Process for UTS Early Entry Application
- Access the Application Portal: – Visit the UTS Early Entry application portal.
- Select Course Preferences: – You can choose up to three courses. Only one offer will be made per application, so list your preferred course first.
- Provide Identification Details
- HSC Students: you nee to use your NESA number
- IB Students: you can use your personal code and upload your Year 11 report or complete the UTS Year 11 Results Form.
- Interstate Students: you need to use your student number and upload the UTS Year 11 Results Form.

ATAR Requirements for Provisional Offers
Although the Early Admission Program makes a provisional offer based on Year 11 results, students must still meet the minimum ATARs for final admission:
- 83 ATAR for Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
- 80 ATAR for Law courses
- 75 ATAR for Sport and Exercise courses
- 73 ATAR for Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology Bachelor of Criminology
- 69 ATAR for all other courses
