Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited (BSPHCL), formerly known as Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB), it is a state-owned electricity regulation board operating inside the Bihar in India. BSEB company was established in 1958 as a statutory corporation under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948. 14,850 workers and roughly 1,700 officer made up BSEB as of November 2012. Just 530 MW of capacity is derated. The two companies amalgamated on August 2, 2011.
