However, no priority has been given to any application. All applicants are encouraged to submit their applications through the application portal or Common App. If you fill out both applications, your file may be delayed in the review process.

First Year
High school senior or have graduated from high school but have not attended college (dual enrollment and summer after high school graduation are excluded).
Traditional Applicants
- Paid the $50 non-refundable application fee*.
- Uploaded copy of high school transcript(s).
- Official ACT/SAT test scores are sent from the testing agency.
Test-optional Applicants
- Paid the $50 non-refundable application fee*.
- Uploaded copy of high school transcript(s).
- Minimum 3.6 GPA
Transfer
Transfer (24 semester hours or more)
You are a student who has completed at least 24 hours of college work at an institution after graduating from high school and is transferring credits to Auburn University.
- Have completed 24 or more semester hours at another college or university.
- Have achieved a 2.5 cumulative GPA (2.8 for the College of Architecture)
- Must complete two required core courses.
- English Composition
- Mathematics
- History
- Natural Science with a Laboratory
Freshman Transfer (Less than 24 semester hours)
You are a student who has taken some college-level work after graduation from high school and is interested in transferring to Auburn University.
- Must have completed at least one core course from another college or university
- Must have achieved a 2.5 cumulative GPA (2.8 for the College of Architecture)
- Must submit final high school transcript with graduation date and final GPA of 3.0
- Must submit ACT/SAT scores of 22/1100

How to Apply for Auburn application
Follow the steps to apply for Auburn application online from auburn.edu/admissions.
- Visit the Auburn application portal.
- Click on Apply from the Top menu bar.
- The category you want to apply for.
- Create an account if you are a first-time user.
- Then, log in to your Auburn University account.
- Fill out the online application with all the required information.
- Upload the document which is required here.
- Complete application fee – $50 for U.S. residents and $70-$100 for international students.
- After that, submit the application form.
