Eligibility Requirement – Who Can Apply for Cullen Scholarship
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a resident of Ontario
- Must be enrolled full-time in a horticulture or landscape-related program at:
- University of Guelph
- Niagara Parks Commission
- Ontario colleges like Fanshawe, Humber, Seneca, Algonquin, and more
- Or be a registered horticulture apprentice at a recognized training school
- Applicant miust be nominated by their program coordinator, based on recommendations from peers and instructors
Cullen Scholarship Amount
- Each scholarship is valued at a minimum of $3,000
- Apprentices may receive two separate awards of $1,000 each
- An additional $5,000 is available to help students with demonstrated financial need
Note: Selection is based on a voting process among instructors and classmates, followed by coordinator nomination
Cullen Scholarship Required Documents
Students must submit the following:
- Proof of Ontario residency (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill, or school document)
- Proof of full-time enrollment in an eligible program
- Nomination details from the program coordinator, including:
